Microsoft denies removing Control Panel from Windows soon

Microsoft has denied the news circulating about removing the Control Panel from Windows soon, confirming that this news is incorrect.

Microsoft has been working on moving Control Panel settings to the modern Settings app for over a decade, and has confirmed that the process is ongoing and has not reached the final removal stage. Despite the updated document, false media reports have spread that Microsoft will soon remove the Control Panel, which has sparked widespread controversy.

Microsoft has confirmed that the settings in the Control Panel will gradually be moved to the new Settings app in Windows 11which is undergoing continuous improvements to reduce the need for the old control panel. However, the control panel is still present and is not included in the features scheduled for removal in the near future.
